Nem Nuong Banh Mi

Banh Mi is a classic Vietnamese sandwich that typically features a crispy French baguette, marinated vegetables, your choice of local meat and cilantro. It’s the ideal sandwich for a lunch-to-go and delicious with Saigon Gourmet’s Nem Nuong Garlic & Pepper Vietnamese Sausages.


  1. Cook the Nem Nuong sausages over medium-high heat for 6 minutes or to your liking.
  2. Slice the sausages into strips.
  3. Cut open each baguette half and top with mayonnaise, carrots and cucumbers.
  4. Add the sausage strips and fresh cilantro.
  5. Top with peppers. Add salt and pepper to taste.


To add variety to your cooking , replace the Nem Nuong sausages with your choice of protein: lemongrass-marinated tofu for a vegetarian option or thin slices of grilled lemongrass-marinated beef or chicken.
